It is as important to resolve pain following an accident as it is to correct bio mechanical injuries and restore normal range of motion.  At our office, we have successfully treated hundreds of patients affected by auto accidents, and we have learned the importance of care following an accident.  Untreated bio mechanical injuries may not heal optimally. If you have injuries from an auto accident, a thorough chiropractic exam to determine if you are a candidate for chiropractic care is important. We will never suggest treatment for individuals whom we feel we cannot help.

Insurance companies realize the many advantages of chiropractic care.  Chiropractic treatment for any person involved in an accident is usually fully covered by automobile insurance policies. We will help you complete all the necessary insurance paperwork and file a claim with the responsible insurance company.

Our team includes doctors, chiropractic assistants and support personnel, all with one goal in mind – to help you get well. We're available seven days a week, and we treat most auto accident patients with no out-of-pocket costs.

Have you been injured in an auto accident, or have you have been injured at work?

Auto Accident Injuries

All car accidents are different. The injuries sustained by each occupant depend upon the angle at which one vehicle hits another object or vehicle, the type of vehicle involved, the age of the person(s) in each vehicle (if more than one vehicle is involved), the use of seat belts, the time of day and weather conditions at the time of the accident, and other variables.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, auto accident rates have been on the decline in recent years. While that sounds optimistic, almost 3 million people were in auto accidents last year in the United States, resulting in countless injuries and more than 30,000 fatalities (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Fatality Analysis Reporting System). A vehicle accident is not limited to two cars hitting one another. There are many types of auto accidents, such as vehicle on vehicle (car, truck, SUV, motorcycle), vehicle on stationary object (tree, pole, fence, building, median), vehicle on pedestrian, etc.

Auto accident injuries can be classified as major injuries or minor ones. In some cases there are no injuries whatsoever. Regardless of how bad the injury may be, the people involved should consult a chiropractic physician immediately because injury may not present itself for days or even weeks after an accident occurs. A chiropractic physician can assess your situation and prescribe treatments as necessary.

The Role of the Chiropractor in Healing Auto Accident Injuries

A chiropractor's skills lie primarily in techniques related to the spine. A person in a car accident may experience any of the following symptoms stemming from spinal injury or bruising:

  • Lower and / or Upper Back Pain
  • Neck Pain / Whiplash
  • Headaches
  • Pinched Nerves
  • Sciatica
  • Slipped Disc
  • Stress
  • Shoulder and / or Arm Pain

A chiropractor will suggest a schedule of treatment to help heal the injuries. If an injured person requires medical attention, the chiropractor will refer the patient to a medical physician. Chiropractic care is vital to the healing process for any person injured in car accidents.
